Lüdenscheid, February 2014. As a specialist in LED lighting with highly developed expertise in optoelectronics, ERCO is synonymous with perfect light. But how can the importance of LED technology best be translated into a presentation that delivers maximum impact? And more importantly, how can it be used to inspire creative minds to come up with new solutions? At this year’s Light + Building, ERCO’s booth architecture will be styled to symbolise an LED PCB with its complex interconnections that will be mirrored in the booth’s layout and its graphic design.
The multimedia, interconnected structure of the booth will at the same time reflect ERCO’s central intention: to bring people together who inspire each other.
The new trade fair booth devised by ERCO’s in-house design team continues the tradition of previous presentations: two structures joined at their narrow sides by an open space that invites visitors in for a personal dialogue and an opportunity to discover new products. Mounted on long tables, ERCO’s new LED lighting tools are set to deliver a visuo-haptic experience that demonstrates their powerful and precise lighting effect.
The booth will be optimally illuminated throughout by the latest generation of ERCO luminaires. Using cutting-edge LED technology ERCO is able once again to reduce the energy usage of its entire booth by a further 19 per cent on 2012 – down to now 6.17W/m².
The fascination of light on a real scale
ERCO offers magic light for any application – providing an experience for all the senses in its new booth architecture. The oversized Light Box demonstrates application scenarios in realistic dimensions. The eleven metre wide stage window uses superimposed light, spatial projections and information graphics to tell stories from ERCO’s architectural segments that include culture, retail and work. A coordinated sound system creates a welcoming atmosphere. The lounge on the other side of the booth, meanwhile, invites visitors to linger, relax and engage in an informal dialogue.
As an interactive and open place, the booth creates an environment that inspires the exchange of ideas. What inspires the experts of the international lighting and architecture departments? Interested to know, ERCO invites visitors at the Light + Building to share with the team their very own sources of inspiration. Creative minds from all over the world can leave their personal sources of inspiration at the Inspiration Box. Or read up on real-time comments on light and architecture posted on the social web outside the trade fair. How exactly ERCO’s booth will grow into a dynamic place of inspiration can be experienced on site at the Light + Building.
From 20 March 2014, the setup of ERCO’s booth can be tracked live at www.erco.com/light-building.
